When it comes to gardening, I don’t think many people grow anything that might kill them on purpose. This should be a relaxed hobby. However, Grinding Gear Games likes to experiment, and gardening is the next thing the company focuses on in Path of Exile: Harvest. This new extension allows players to plant seeds in the sacred grove, and grow seeds by creating tools and settings to achieve ideal growth. The problem is that here is not planting plants, but planting monsters.

The purpose is to breed different kinds of monsters, from small creatures to legendary beasts, and then kill them to maintain life. This vitality can then be used for handcrafting. Every enemy killed in the Holy Grove contributes to the development of this life force, so the more creatures you grow, the better the release of creatures will bring better returns, including POE Currency. Developers believe that this method of production is powerful and different from any method that Path of Exile has seen so far. You will need to be ready to accept these monsters.

In addition to Harvest, more improvements will be introduced, including passive skill tree improvements to support gameplay such as two-handed weapons and rage, and more trapezoidal passive games including Timeless Jewels. A new Grand Slam skill and auxiliary gem have been added, and some moves have been reclassified as Grand Slam. The brand will be redone, Path of Exile will add 12 new items, and the other 50 will be redone. Delirium and Cluster Jewels will also become part of Path of Exile's core experience.

As early as November, Grinding Gear Games confirmed that it is working on Path of Exile 2, which will provide 19 new ascending classes, a new POE Chaos Orb system and new equipment that will support gems directly into skill gems. All microtransactions purchased from Path of Exile will be compatible with the sequel. The beta version of Path of Exile is expected to be released later this year.
