Frankly horde and alliance doesn't matter at all in my view unless you are a hardcore player. You are able to discover a casual guild and WOW players who do all kinds of content on each faction. 99% of WOW players won't be deeply affected by faction option, again in my opinion. There is a lot of sound around faction imbalance in part because the voices are WOW gamers who are impacted by it.
