This time, Dallas Mavericks' star guard Luka Doncic will be included on MT 2K22 the cover, while an NBA 75th Anniversary Edition cover depicts NBA legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Durant. The cover will also feature a special edition featuring the Washington Wizards' Rui Hachimura the only one that's available in Japan.

Luka Doncic and Candace Parker are among the players who will be the cover athletes in NBA 2K22.Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, Chicago Sky and WNBA superstar Candace Parker and Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant are among the players to be featured on the next NBA 2K video game release which the company has announced today. 

NBA legends Kareem Abdel-Jabbar (with Durant) will grace the cover of the NBA 75th anniversary edition. Parker will become the first WNBA player to be featured on the cover NBA 2K in the GameStop Exclusive edition.

Durant was on the cover of NBA 2K in the past featuring it on NBA 2K13 (along with Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose) and NBA 2K15. In the case of Nowitzki and Doncic they're the first Mavericks to appear on the cover of the long history of the game.

Abdul-Jabbar, Durant, and Nowitzki All three were on Twitter to announce their spots on the cover. Abdul-Jabbar said it was "a incredible experience" getting to be included on the cover. Durant and Doncic both considered being the cover athlete an honor while Nowitzki was funny in tweets: "Not sure who these other guys are but huge honor to be included on the cover of Buy NBA 2K22 MT NBA2K22.
