Madden Simulation: Andy Reid visits Philadelphia for the second time
This week this week, the Mut 22 coins Kansas City Chiefs will be on the road to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. They need to stop their losing streak, which was extended due to their loss on Sunday the Los Angeles Chargers (30-24).
L'JariusSeeed intercepted the Eagles during their first drive and Mike Hughes intercepted the second. Even though only one pick was taken on the offensive side however, it was an important improvement from last week in which there were back-to offensive possessions that were back to back, where the ball was turned.
The Chiefs defense's secondary played excellently, registering three interceptions. They were also able to force a fumble. The defensive line of Kansas City was unable to apply pressure on Jalenhurts. Hurts was able to throw, and Sneed Hughes, Hughes, and Deandre Baker were able pick Hurts off without a hitch.
The Chiefs ran game was virtually non-existent. The Chiefs have only 54 yards of ground in the first quarter of the fourth quarter. There was an important fourth-and-1 stopping by the Eagles defense that could have changed the direction of this game.
Patrick Mahomes was very conservative. It seemed as though Mahomes was looking to go down the field slow and methodically, but when he needed to get an initial down in the fourth quarter, the ball was thrown by him as the ball to Darius Slay Jr.
Mahomes made five mistakes during the game, which included three interceptions and two forfumbles. Mahomes's cautious play against Eagles was not successful because after the Eagles were down in the first quarter, Mahomes started to force throws that resulted in two interceptions.
To win the game the Eagles scored 28 points in the fourth quarter.
In week 5 of the buy mut coins season, the Chiefs are returning home for Sunday Night Football, taking on the Buffalo Bills. The kickoff time is 7:20 p.m. Arrowhead time, and we will once again present the game's matchup ahead of time from the EA Universe.
