Creating a new account on "Newscape" would be very tedious

Personally I'd prefer to see OSRS GP this turn into a free-to-play game in the near future, or else we'll end up in a situation similar to where magic shortbows and longbow specifications are accidentally made free-to-play. Plus we are doing the beta test for free, why do we need to pay for it.

If you want to play RS3, you can just continue where you left off. This won't alter the fact that you need to begin a foundation within the beginning months or weeks. It will be easier to learn the new features if you already have an account. Additionally, you'll find the new changes easier to use when you don't have to start gear or anything.

My opinion is that the process of creating a new account on "Newscape" would be very tedious and could ruin your chances at being able to return for a long period of time. Recently, I logged into my account for the thousandth times, and I have a fresh perspective and a desire to learn.

After gaining experience intermittently for a decade with only the most basic statistics (70 across all boards, y'know) I discovered a new joy in PVM'ing after giving EOC a try and getting back into it. Another issue I have in the perception of the current game is how many people seem to have different opinions about it.

Although I'd not played EOC before I returned I was expressing my displeasure about it. This is the story for many other players, regardless of whether they acknowledge it. Because stuff like this can have a massive snowball effect. Some people also claim that micro-transactions are a huge plague to Runescape but truthfully it's keeping the company going and is not required. I find it's primarily newer players who seem to buy items for real money, us vets are able to get things done in the traditional way.

2007 was a year I was runescape 3 gold hoping for, but it brings back the downswing that we all went through shortly after 2007. Despite being biased, it is my personal opinion. I don't see 07 as an appealing or viable community. It would only be possible if there were a few friends, or perhaps an old-timer clan.
