To obtain heads or the Golden Party Hat, players must complete "various goals" and collect eight golden shards in exchange for OSRS gold  their efforts. When all eight shards have been taken, they will be put together into the Golden Party Hat.

But it is not just that the event limited in time, but only one golden hat is made for each participant. Similar to their predecessors in 2001, Jagex states of the golden caps that "after the cut-off time the golden hats will not be ever again available for purchase!"

The question is whether the new item disrupts the game's economy and decreases the value of party hats or is an entirely new and even more expensive item remains to be determined. Jagex will be celebrating the event in the same way however, by transforming the game's Grand Exchange location into "a Golden Party Hat winter wonderland".

The golden hat is the apex event (sorry) to the RuneScape's annual celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary. The event will be launched alongside the return of the partyhat event, it's the fourth and final stage of the anniversary quest Once Upon a Time, that runs throughout the through the year.

The appropriate title is Finale The chapter is described as "the end of the adventure which explores RuneScape's past future, and present and concludes the story's arc an end for Relomia the antagonist of the quest."

Finale will take players to three places - three locations - Black Knight's Fortress The World Gate, and the island of Kami-Shima , which could provide glimpses of possible possibilities for the future. The completion of the chapter will reward the players "four Quest points, a new magical T5 dice.

The final reward track unlocks in the May Quest Point Caravan, a medium-sized XP lamp, the Shadow Rip home of Relomia, Teleport cosmetic power override Two Treasure Hunter keys" and "one additional surprise to be found".

The Runescape Double XP events are always an exciting time for players. Offering players a longer period of time to accumulate a lot of XP the game, it's a great method of celebrating the progress that the games have gone through and the direction it could take in the near future. If you're planning to take benefit of the Double XP event in RuneScape here's what you need to be aware of.

Runescape Double Exp is scheduled to officially begin on Friday, the 18th of February. The duration will be 10 days. Since there are only a few of these per year, it's likely that we'll have to wait for a couple of months to get another. Be sure to map out your goals and figure out how you're going to get the most value from the extra XP.
