NBA 2K has evolved from just another hyped product in the gaming industry. It's become a major cultural phenomenon and its connection to music NBA 2K23 MT, pop culture fashion, sneakers, and, of course, basketball has brought the franchise to heights that is unmatched by any other sport. In its most recent edition, NBA 2K23, the game made history after announcing J. Cole as the first rapper ever to be featured on with the covers of NBA 2K with the Dreamer Edition. Although it's definitely a surprise that 2K had a cover of this in the midst of the release process, the style of the game's own design may have hinted at this happening some day. However that this was not 2K's idea. It was J. Cole's.

"Three and a half years in the past, when he dropped a shot within one of breaks during the All-Star Weekend Saturday Night, J. Cole said 'Ronnie I'd like to be in MyCareer and assist you in thinking about the concept of it"" Ronnie 2K tells Complex. "I collaborated with the team on bringing this to life , and it was an honor to collaborate with his. The moment we released that tease, everyone thought that it was another basketball player...it allows us live in style, culture, music and sports. 2K is at the table."

This J. Cole cover is one of the four covers on the new edition of 2K The other covers include Michael Jordan, Devin Booker and a duo with Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi. NBA 2K23 is all over social media since the NBA ratings dropping this week. Kevin Durant even took at joke after his 2K rating was released. On the day of the game's launch, we talked to Ronnie Singh aka Ronnie 2K about the decision to place MJ onto the covers of the game instead of LeBron and why Devin Booker was selected over other NBA stars MyCareer NBA 2K MT For Sale, ProAm gameplay, and more.
