Path of Exile Introduces the Elementalist as New Ascendancy Class

That'll change a little, though, together with the free-to-play action RPG's upcoming Ascendancy expansion. Developer Grinding Gear Games' lead designer Chris Wilson tells me they're introducing the revolutionary Elementalist class as being a specialization for that Witch, which channels the class' energies right into a purer consentrate on fire, ice, and lightning. It's not concerned by any means with chaos damage. If your magical inclinations thus have a tendency to favor Warcraft's Jaina Proudmoore over, say, Dragon Age's Morrigan, you might like to jump in when Ascendancy drops in March.
