Before we get too far into the PoE currency manual, there are a couple of uniques you will want to purchase regardless of what version you are going. The first two are the threshold jewels I said. You will want to pick up a Combat Focus Crimson Jewel to stop Cold from being chosen, and a Combat Focus Viridian Jewel to Reduce Lightning from being selected. Both of these gems are completely vital to the build, as without them we would be doing zero damage for two thirds of our strikes.

This ring converts 40% of your Lightning harm to Cold damage. The last is among many uniques, but the lowest by far is the Pyre ring, that then takes that massive Cold harm and converts 40% of it to Fire (like the transformed Lightning). Both of these rings set together with Avatar of Fire to convert 81% of your quad and 90 percent of your Cold damage to Fire, all applied in one hit in addition to the buy poe orbs Fire harm already there.

Luckily the items -- except amulet -- would be. The decision in items comes in the items themselves, so it's entirely personal choice. For Belt, the Boots and Gloves get whatever fits. Anything functions in one or more one of these slots covered. You want a lot of flat life exactly like any other build.
