rsgoldfastcom: With a mobile Maple Story release

With a mobile Maple Story release

With a mobile Maple Story release, that game will probably be in more gamers' hands than previously, and before most gamers can buy mesos maplestory 2 get their hands on a mobile variant of Fortnite. With over 30 million copies sold on PC and more than 5 million Xbox One, the sky remains the limit.

I should be clear about something, right from the start: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a massive, unqualified victory by almost any standards. The match that popularized the battle royale genre is the third-highest selling game on Steam and recently declared five million copies sold on Xbox One. That's not just good, that is amazing, also Maple Story deserves kudos for achieving that victory using tight, tense gameplay that is as addictive today as it was when it first launched. Of course, when I say "nearly" any criteria, there is one other game I'm speaking about. Fortnite Battle Royale has entered into full-blown trend territory, and Maple Story seems destined, to some level, to be the game that inspired it.

We don't have direct numbers on this, and even when we did we wouldn't be able to generate a direct comparison. Fortnite Battle Royale declared 45 million players back in January, and it appears to have witnessed a massive growth since that time. It's available on more platforms than Maple Story and it is also free: it is a recipe for bigger numbers, to be sure, even though we can not be sure if larger numbers translate to bigger earnings. That is going to be even truer when the game migrates to mobile, where a vast sea of gamers is more than happy to play without paying, thank you very much.

Even so, we can see the here methods by which Fortnite is currently dominating the dialogue. Drake combined Fortnite streamer Ninja to get a session to violate Twitch's record for concurrent viewers on a single flow, and Ninja himself has been happily breaking documents for weeks now. Fortnite dominates the most popular tab on Twitch, together with 236,000 audiences to Maple Story's 78,000 now -- Maple Story has also fallen behind Twitch mainstay League of Legends. Fortnite is the game that Good Morning America does a trend piece on, Fortnite is the game your children won't stop playing with. Fortnite handed Maple Story's listing concurrent players with 3.4 million back in early February, and the sport has almost assuredly grown since then. Even though Epic releases a never-ending stream of fresh material for Fortnite, Maple Story fights with cheaters and specialized difficulties. A brand new, smaller Maple Story map appears to be a response to Fortnite's popularity. The signs are there, with no doubt -- Fortnite is winning in an uneven fight.
