Phantasy Star made its impression on me back with PS2, or even merely reading about it though I began playing in PSU. I had been a Nintendo kid, did not have a Sega, but among the meseta pso2 gambling mags at the time needed a very spoilery strategy guide and I guess that"that" occurring actually threw me for a loop. Nearly all of my RPGing are Final Fantasy and Zelda and whatnot, but it's remained with me to the day. Although I have friends who did, I did not get into PSO regrettably. PSU for a lot of its life and I did play. I regret I did not get past like level 80, but I found a Psycho Wand plank or 2 before I ceased. I did play just a little PSO2 back as it came out and needed to do it the hard way.

It stopped showing Gal Gryphon in all of its glory and performed with with The New World. Got it and played with with it religiously with my brothers for many years. We still play now. We simultaneously hit at level 100 on Black Falz together with a little coordination in PSZ. We were initially going to await PSO2's NA launch but it never came. A few years ago I found out that you could play on the JP servers but that I lost interest as my brothers were not interested in doing that. They time has come when we could all play PSO2 together like we did PSO and PSZ ahead of them. I can not wait!

Gamecube for me. I picked up PSO 1&2 and afterwards BB. I never played back then but I had hundreds of hours. If memory serves I was able to get to the second difficulty level but could not get past some of those bosses. At that point I would make a new personality and test different classes. PSU came out and I was really excited but quickly died after about 30 minutes of gameplay. So I never picked up it, it felt like exactly the wrong direction to me. Now I am excited to try PSO2 but I am not certain if I were able to like it such as PSO BB. I'm eager to get in and try it anyways!

My buddies from the old days of playing very vague MMO mech match (C21 and Cosmic Split to be precise) invited me to playwith. Phantasy Star Online 2 itself is nice but because of general incompetent localization and rampant monetization by Playpark, I decided to try out VPNing my way into JP server. My god quality of additional content & life improvements made me give in and started playing from the start again. But sadly, most of my friends have already quit playing with this time so I kinda have to survive alone on Ship 2 (basically a server with most english speaking players). This was around when Episode 3 dropped I believe and that I had a great deal of fun grinding different courses to 75 (which surprisingly took me LESS time in contrast to grinding to 40 at SEA lol).

Been playing only wolf for about a year, then switched to Ship 8 to begin playing a bit more severely (better economy and participant dps in general) and fortunately got picked up by an english speaking team. I'm in a position to achieve end-game thanks to them and started a little an in-game cosplay hobby! Posted my Cast avatar twitter as Megaman X plus it frees up for some reason. I keep when I have money to buy PSO2 Meseta spare 13, doing this since then.
