I'm aware that this can be subjective experience
I'm aware that this can be subjective experience I am talking about, but I am curious as to exactly what do you men think. I mean, can it be only a ordered more fun kind of job which you pay to perform or is there something in RuneScape that's fun and enjoyable in itself (e.g. playing a specific minigame)?
RuneScape is the type of game in which you need to create your own fun, yet are surrounded by a great deal of individuals that want to push you to do things which aren't fun and a lot of game style that disturbs you to do chores, rather than have fun. Be it warbands, guthixian cache, raids, sinkholes, or whatever else - there's lots of things that lots of people feel pressured to perform because they feel like it's"the" way to train.
Auras are unhappy, horrible things as well. They pressure you to remain logged in for so long as they last - then say,"shoo, shoo! I am done with you. Proceed" When they're over, because, hey, you just used this wonderful item that assisted you so much and perhaps even was essential for you being able to finish the content you're enjoying. It's an uncomfortable push and tug - instead of simply encouraging you to play with when you desire, it motivates you to play habitually, but not play too far - because hey, should you actually progress to where you want to go that is step one to becoming bored with RuneScape, which can be just a brief jaunt from canceling your subscription and taking a rest from RuneScape.
Oh and lord, RNG is just. Questionable Lots of the time. With RuneScape getting more and increasingly long, RNG grinds it is kinda jump to happen that people get sucked into long grinds that go nowhere yet they continue pushing. It also is likely hitting on some comparatively negative emotional trappings. Anyway, yeah, the design has problems. As for that which I like - I enjoy just exploring RuneScape, doing strange things that other people don't to, and learning about the small things. I love to challenge myself with things I didn't think I could do. I like to progress to targets that build towards something greater - the way RuneScape can crescendo over time is gratifying.
I believe this is part of the reason I've loved RuneScape for so long too, many people play RuneScape continuously - then they are disappointed that there's no new content. Meanwhile, most of the time that I play there's something fresh to explore because of my fractures - combine that with researching niche things and I avoid being tired of RuneScape quite well. Like, recently I have been doing things that is F2P and I'm working on a shield-always ironman.
