How Good Are the Best Chinese Universities?

In a surprising move, the most recent U.S. News & World Report ranking put China’s Tsinghua University ahead of the United States’ Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the world’s best engineering school. Together with the news that Chinese scientist Tu Youyou won the Nobel Prize in medicine, Tsinghua University’s ranking has led people to debate the rise of China’s educational system and its soft power. To get more news about best university in china for mba, you can visit acem.sjtu.edu.cn official website.

Maybe one should be not surprised by Tsinghua’s success at all. It is not just Tsinghua that is moving upwards: several Chinese universities have surpassed traditional elite universities in Europe and Asia. Indeed, as the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Global Universities Rankings show, among the top 750 universities around the world, China has 65. Moreover, Chinese universities occupy five positions among the top 10 Asian universities ranked by the report. Chinese universities are expected to enter the global top 10 list in coming decades. As one Australian education expert explains, “When more Chinese journals are indexed by Thomson Reuters and when four million Chinese researchers start to cite one another, then we can expect Chinese universities to rapidly improve their position on various rankings.”

It’s not just paper citations that push Chinese universities upward. Prestigious Chinese universities’ global influence is rising fast too. For example, Tsinghua University has launched the Schwarzman Scholars program, with an aim to train the next generation of global leaders whose success must depend on a good understanding of “China’s role in global trends.” Already, 3,000 of the best and brightest from around the world have applied for the program and only about 100 would be selected, thus making the program one of the most competitive of its kind in the world. Tsinghua University is not alone in this regard. Peking University has also announced its own program, called the Yenching Academy, which is already offering 10 English courses in the fall of 2015.

Yenching Academy shares the Schwarzman program’s goal, which is to train the next generation of global leaders. The shared assumption of these two prestigious programs is that a global leader cannot be an effective leader without a deep understanding of China and its role in the world. It would be misleading to just focus on Tsinghua and Peking as we examine the rising influence of Chinese universities. Indeed, Tsinghua is most famous for its science and engineering departments and this is why it is often called “China’s MIT.” Peking University has a long and proud tradition within Chinese higher education, as it has always been at the center of the country’s social and political developments since its establishment in 1898. Another university that is quietly rising in the rankings is Renmin University of China, which is often less noticed due to its strong focus on social sciences rather than science fields. Indeed, if one only ranks social science, Renmin University is arguably China’s best university, even surpassing Peking University. For example, in 2015, Renmin University won 50 projects sponsored by the National Social Science Fund, the most among all institutes of higher education. Several departments at Renmin University, including history, law, and international relations, are often ranked number one in China. In recent years, Renmin University has also increased its international profile through its think tank efforts, evidenced by the Chongyang Institute under the leadership of its president, Chen Yulu.

Other notable examples of rising Chinese universities include Fudan University in Shanghai and Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou. All the above-mentioned universities have significantly increased their research funding for the coming decade. To be sure, it would be misleading to judge a university’s quality solely by looking at the rankings. Still, one can argue that the rise of Chinese universities is not a surprising development, given the overall rise of China in the past three decades. Chinese universities still have a lot of catching up to do when compared with their American counterparts, especially with regards to independent thinking and autonomy. But don’t be surprised if you see some of them topping Harvard some day in the future.

Total tax collection plunges 22.5% to Rs 2.54 lakh crore so far this fiscal

However, the source refused to share the advance tax numbers separately for the current quarter, which had nosedived in the first quarter. Similarly, the source also did not share total refunds this year, as well as the gross collections.

Commercial Projects With Commercial 3D Renderings

Architects and Designers are required to transform their imagination into reality, and the ability to visualize their ideas is a large part of this creative process. As the old Asian proverb goes, “Better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times!” Getting a comprehensive visual of the project before it is built contributes a great deal to design success, and 3D Renderings are a valuable tool that can aid them in doing this.To get more news about design rendering services, you can visit https://www.madpainter.net official website. Commercial Buildings are those that are designed for commercial purposes, such as banks, shopping centers, retail buildings, depots, restaurants and hotels, and so on. For such buildings, architects need to gain acceptance with a number of stakeholders, such as the builders, property owners, investors, bankers, and many others, and by using a 3D hyper-realistic rendering to showcase their ideas they can get them to clearly understand all nuances of the project including the spatial flow, functionality of spaces and the aesthetic aspects of the design. The essence of the design can be communicated very effectively, which will significantly multiply the value of the design to customers. All discussions can be made from the point of correct understanding, reducing any miscommunication, and enabling project progress in a positive direction. Quicker decisions are possible, as everyone is on the same page, and there is more clarity on the design – even to a complete layperson! What depicted in 3D Visualization? A good visualization should convey color, texture, reflectivity, transparency, and light scattering, giving the viewer a very realistic feel of the design. The interior should showcase furniture, furnishings, and important details of the interior décor, accurately depicting colors, material, and textures. The rendering should be hyper-realistic and should convey the lighting, both indoor and outdoor, and sunlight and artificial light. Viewers should get the feel of what the building will look like at different times of the day and in various weather conditions. Especially when it comes to designing showrooms, restaurant interiors, conference halls, and so on, lighting plays an important role, and light modeling takes on considerable value. Who creates the 3D Visualization? There can be different people involved in creating the visualization at various stages of the design process. During the design brief, conceptualization, and idea brainstorming period, first-stage visualizations are usually sketched out by the designers themselves. These could be just hand-drawn outlines or conceptual sketches that only show the rough form and basic concepts. Design tools can be used to construct three-dimensional objects and intermediate volumetric visualizations to add in the process of development. These can be rudimentary, just enough to help the designers and their team, and not necessarily to be shown to others. Towards the end of the design process. When the Architectural Design is ready to be demonstrated to customers and other stakeholders in the project, there is a need for a final professional visualization with a high degree of detail. This will require the more detailed elaboration of objects surfaces, materials, lighting, and ambiance and will need the services of Professional 3D Rendering Teams. Such final visualization images are best created by expert artists who have sophisticated tools and software and can take the time and effort to do high-quality visualizations. The final professional images will be greatly in detail, visually expressive, and have high artistic value. Everything You Need to Know about Architectural 3D Rendering 3D Rendering is a process by which a photo-realistic image is created using computer software programs. China industry rebounds in April from coronavirus lows

Chinese industry rebounded in April from record falls but the country’s economic recovery remains fragile after the latest threat from US president Donald Trump strained relations further. To get more news about chinese industry and management practice, you can visit acem.sjtu.edu.cn official website.

Industrial production rose 3.9 per cent year on year in April after collapsing 13.5 per cent in the January-February period during the coronavirus outbreak, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Friday. Fixed-asset investment and retail sales continued to fall but at a slower pace. Fixed-asset investment was down 10.3 per cent over the first four months of the year, compared with a 16 per cent decline in the first quarter. April retail sales fell 7.5 per cent year on year.

The release of the figures came just hours after US president Donald Trump threatened to “cut off the whole relationship” with China in retaliation for Beijing’s alleged mishandling of the early stages of the pandemic. “Stable development of China-US relations serves the fundamental interests of both countries,” said Zhao Lijian, a foreign ministry spokesman, who urged the US to abandon its “cold war mentality”. “

The two sides should strengthen anti-epidemic co-operation, win the war against the epidemic, treat patents and resume economic production. But this requires the US to meet China halfway.” Earlier this week, the US government’s main pension fund halted plans to invest in Chinese stocks after pressure from administration officials.

Criteria for Currency Pairs Selection Before You Start the Market Analysis

The biggest mistake made by many traders over the years is that they will trade whatever currency pairs appearing in front of them. Right after logging in their accounts, they will straightaway perform the technical analysis only by viewing 2 or 3 graphs of currency pairs. To get more news about https://www.wikifx.com, you can visit wikifx official website.
Unfortunately, when the graphs do not fulfill their expectation, they will start to claim what just happened is a 'FAKE BREAKOUT', or a 'FAKE REJECTION'. Indeed, it happens when they ignore the important criteria for choosing a currency pair in trade, which will eventually cause a great loss to their tradings.
Life is full of CHOICES. Even when it comes to foods, the more nutritious ones with higher quality are selected because they offer us a healthier life. And of course, we will avoid the foods that are harmful to our health. It means that we must be very picky in choosing foods whenever we want to eat. Hence, not all the foods in front of us are worth eating.
Similarly, this is what we should do while we are trading. We must have a WHY criteria for CHOOSING a certain currency pair. If the broker offers us 30 currency pairs, it is not necessary for us to trade all them in random circumstances. This is simply because the movement & volatility of each pair is not the same. Thus, the most important thing we need to do before analyzing the market is to screen all the currency pairs offered to us. I repeat, ALL the currency pairs.

image
One of the features that distinguish one currency pair from another is its daily trading range. The higher the range of a currency pair, the more vulnerable it is to a massive risk in trading, and vice versa. New traders are encouraged to start the trades with a low range of currency pairs so that they are not exposed to a huge loss.
You can measure the graphs of daily trading range movement by measuring the length of D1 candlestickand considering the lowest price andthe highest price. You can click on the crosshair and measure the range from LOW to HIGH on that daily candlestick. Here is an example of a range reading that I have made in the last few months. This range needs to be checked over time as it changes with the seasons. But the change does not happen every day. Probably, the changes occur biweekly.

U.S. Dollar Index, a must-use indicator for all Forex traders

The U.S. Dollar Index is an index that represents the value of the US Dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies including Euro, Japanese Yen, Pound Sterling, Canadian Dollar, Swedish Krona, and Swiss Franc . The index is equal to the outcome of a geometric average, rather than an arithmetic average, of the constituent currencies. And here is a specific equation:To get more news about https://www.wikifx.com, you can visit wikifx official website.
U.S. Dollar Index =50.14348112 × EURUSD(-0.576) × USDJPY(0.136) × GBPUSD(-0.119) ×USDCAD(0.091) × USDSEK(0.042) ×USDCHF(0.036) In this equation Euro takes 57.6% in weight which is the second significant factor. When the index goes up, the U.S. dollar is more appreciated than the other currencies. If the index goes in the opposite direction, other currencies such as Euro will be demanded by the market.

image
The index is more than an indicator showing a basic market outlook of USD. It also provides a daytrader with trading signals. Daytraders always face a tradeoff between doing nothing for today and trading without any reference. It happens when no significant economic and political news is released. And the price movement in the Forex market is in a flat fashion.
It is hard for daytraders to make a profit. In this case, the U.S. Dollar Index is a practical indicator to help traders find less dismal currencies. If the U.S. Dollar Index is found keeping increasing constantly but EURUSD goes up as well, EURUSD will be a nice choice. There is a good chance that EURUSD will keep the same pace of other currencies. But I am not saying that the EURUSD is going to regress for a hundred percent sure. U.S. Dollar Index is not a forecasting indicator but merely an outlook of the current Forex market.
