So far no one has come forward to claim their winnings from Wednesday night’s Powerball game, which will be $7,054,359 before taxes.

The ticket was bought at a lottery game machine at the FoodMaxx, 699 Lewelling Blvd.

The player picked the five winning numbers which were 10, 12, 15, 19 and 56 but did not select the power number, which was 19. That would have meant $50 million in winnings.

No one in the state picked all five numbers and the power number so the next Powerball game top prize Saturday will be at least $60 million.

A store employee who asked not to be named said they did not even know about the big winner until notified by the media. The store is not aware if anyone has claimed the prize yet. The employee could not recall such a big ticket being sold at the store before.

The employee did say laughingly that it might have been a co-worker, “since a couple have called in sick today.”
