Vinctor: A Colourful Devon Countryside Wedding
A Colourful Devon Countryside Wedding
Meet Clinical Psychologist Jenna, who married plumber Ben in the gorgeous Estate in North Devon, around the 9th of June 2018. The couple met on the night out in Stoke Newington in 2012 and, even though it wasn't love at the beginning sight, romance blossomed throughout a trip to Budapest for New Year.
"We instantly fell deeply in love with. We loved it and had no curfew with no corkage fee. We were keen from the beginning to make a weekend from it so we were built with a family and wedding ceremony relaxed meal within the house around the Thursday, a meal out with everyone who desired to come around the Friday, wedding around the Saturday and recovery BBQ around the Sunday."
Capturing the special moment on camera was Lisa, who brought to your day, and persuaded Jenna and Ben into an engagement shoot too- something I recommend.
"We loved having Lisa photograph us- it had been like having a buddy do it. She also did an incredible engagement aim for us. We weren't sure relating to this, but it had been really helpful for your day."
Jenna wore a fitted lace gown by, having a beautiful plunging back, which she purchased in Halesowen together with her long narrow veil.
"I've never really liked bridal dresses in magazines but decided to go for any fun day trip with my Mum and sister not looking to find anything. The dress became the second dress I tried on and it had been the only dress that I said 'wow' to. It was my style and also the one off the hanger fitted." Click
"The baby flower girl dresses were all from FeelTimes and they looked so cute. We had them carry huge balloons which were put into the cuteness. The page boys had little suits."
Jenna walked on the grassy aisle together with her dad to 'Somewhere only we know by Lily Allen (chosen because Ben needed to go back to Oz for five months just a few months after you had together and Jenna would participate in it when she got sad) and also the two mums, bridesmaids, flower girls, and page boys all walked in ahead.
"I loved our ceremony. We were built with a humanist wedding and were built with a lot of input and it had been so personal that people just loved it."
Jenna and Ben bought their flowers from Clare and their family and friends helped them put everything together the day before the marriage.
"Clare was super helpful. I wanted bright corals, pinks, yellows, and also some big flowers, as the rest of the flowers were built with a vintage feel. The bridesmaid's bouquets were held like holding an infant which I loved too, while I always wanted only one large flower so I used one from the bright pink peonies."
"Food was vital for me because I am a massive foodie therefore we used local catering service, who basically might have made whatever we wanted. We chose Spanish-inspired sharing food for starter and main and big sharing pavlovas for pudding."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Try to create our clear ideas right from the start and always communicate. On your day make sure you are kept from the stressful bits."
