After a rocky beginning the Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic beta is now in full swing. It will be released later in WOW WoTLK Classic Gold  the year The Classic expansion will bring back World of Warcraft as it was prior to the 2007 Burning Crusade expansion, which included the Outland and flying mounts and two new races: the blood elves and the draenei. For those who want to play the beloved expansion earlier (again) prior to the end of the beta and logging into this beta Burning Crusade Classic beta isn't so easy as launching the game.

It's important to note that players will have to choose between their current characters: All of the current WoW WOTLK Classic realms have been set to be switched to Burning Crusade content "Progression" realms within Burning Crusade Classic, so players must decide whether to switch automatically to one of them or to choose to move their characters to the different "Era" realms which will be restricted to Shadow of the Necropolis on Azeroth. In addition, in the near future, the game client will be upgraded so that bloodelf and draenei characters will be able to reach levels that are as high as 60 prior to the expansion launches.

The beta registration process requires the creation of a Battle.net account that is active with a World of Warcraft subscription, at this point, players are able to sign up on Blizzard's site. The beta is invitation-only, which means participants will have to wait until Blizzard to allow access to their account. After that, however players are able to launch the Battle.net application, choose World of Warcraft, and select "Game Version" in the drop-down menu above"Play" to find the "Play" button to access an option to install the Burning Crusade install option. After installation is complete now, you can select the server to test, and also whether to create a brand new character or transfer one from the regular WoW WOTLK Classic.

In late March, Blizzard has yet to announce what time the WoW: Burning Crusade Classic beta will close. The final expansion is expected to be released in 2022. This is likely to mean several months at the most. The length of time will likely vary depending on the level of stability and balance that gameplay is. The more unstable the game, the more time it will require. Blizzard has also stated that it will listen to feedback from the community; an outcry that is loud could trigger lengthy design changes.

It's been reported that the Burning Crusade beta currently caps players at 64 levels, and Blizzard has shut down third-party add-ons as well as PvP-related content. People who wish to go to Outland but do not possess a level-58 character can benefit from a character Boost service prior to the  buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold launch. After testing is completed, World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic will otherwise be available for free to anyone with an active World of Warcraft subscription.
