Celebrating in

Thomas Dressen ended Germany’s 13-year wait for a men’s World Cup downhill victory on Saturday Customized New York Giants Jerseys , upsetting the pre-race favorites in the classic Hahnenkamm race.

Starting 19th and taking advantage of improved visibility during a brief spell of sunshine on a cloudy day, Dressen sped down the 3.3-kilometer Streif course in 1 minute, 56.15 seconds to beat then-leader Beat Feuz of Switzerland by 0.20 seconds.

”I couldn’t believe it when I finished and saw the `1.’ I thought they were making a joke,” the 24-year-old Dressen said. ”I had to look at the timing board twice to believe it. It’s really been a dream to win Kitzbuehel one time. It’s incredible.”

Celebrating in the finish area and watched by more than 40,000 spectators, Dressen screamed for joy, holding both skis above his head before kneeling down for a moment.

”I was trying to soak up the atmosphere,” said the first German winner of the Hahnenkamm downhill since Sepp Ferstl won it twice – in 1978 and 1979.

Attending Saturday’s race, Ferstl was among the first to congratulate his successor.

”That Ferstl-Streif myth has finally ended,” the 63-year-old Ferstl said. ”I am happy that I can say now Browns Cheap Jerseys , `Thomas has won it as well.”’

Hannes Reichelt of Austria, who won the race four years ago, was 0.41 behind in third, and Aksel Lund Svindal trailed by 1.12 in eighth. The Norwegian, who won Friday’s super-G on the same hill, remained in the lead of the downhill standings, 10 points clear of Feuz.

The German men’s team had not won a downhill since Max Rauffer triumphed in Val Gardena, Italy, in December 2004.

Another victory, however Cheap Malik Jefferson Jersey , seemed only a matter of time after the young German speed team of Dressen, Andreas Sander and Josef Ferstl, son of the two-time Kitzbuehel winner, posted several top results in the past two seasons. Ferstl won a super-G in Val Gardena, Italy, last month.

On Saturday, Sander placed sixth while Ferstl was 20th.

”We have a super team, also with the coaches, the ski technicians, the physiotherapists Youth Trent Murphy Jersey ,” Dressen said. ”We try to learn from each other and that’s what brings us forward.”

A downhill silver medalist at the 2014 junior world championships, Dressen got his fifth top-10 result this season, including his first career podium by placing third in Beaver Creek, Colorado, in December.

”For me it is a surprise that it went so well,” Dressen said following his win on one of the most difficult men’s World Cup courses. ”I struggled in the training, especially in the steep section. Today I skied that well for the first time.”

Getting his first victory in Austria was special to Dressen, who moved to the neighboring country as a kid to study and learn racing at the ski school in Neustift in the Tyrol province. Also, he lost his father, Dirk Dressen Robert Griffin III Jersey Ravens , in a ski lift accident in nearby Soelden in 2005.

”I was in Neustift for a year and then in Saalfelden for five more years. That has definitely been the right way for me,” said Dressen, who was born in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Bavarian resort will host men’s World Cup races next weekend.

Feuz, the downhill world champion, was starting to believe he had won the race after his leading time was still holding up after 18 starters, with nearly all favorites having completed their runs.

Several racers, most notably Olympic champion Matthias Mayer and fellow Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr, led the Swiss skier halfway through their runs but lost their advantage on the challenging finish section.

”I am very glad with second place. In Kitzbuehel you are always glad when you get to the finish,” Feuz said. ”Last year I crashed here so it wasn’t easy to get that out of my head.”

The 78th edition of the Hahnenkamm races end with a slalom on Sunday.

The Penguins

His team embarrassed by the defending Stanley Cup champions in a lopsided playoff-opening loss Bengals Game Jerseys , Philadelphia Flyers coach Dave Hakstol could have panicked. Instead, he doubled down.

No switching up the lines. No swapping the goaltenders. Nothing. Hakstol didn’t think changes were necessary. As ugly as getting blown out by Pittsburgh in Game 1 looked, it felt even worse. That was motivation enough. No personnel changes necessary.

”It was pretty tough for us to walk out of the rink a couple nights ago,” Hakstol said. ”That wasn’t us.”

This was.

Sean Couturier had a goal and two assists, Brian Elliott stopped 34 shots and Flyers cooled off the Penguins 5-1 on Friday night to even the first-round series at a game apiece.

”Said it coming in, nobody is really giving us a serious chance in this series Cheap Customized Kansas City Chiefs Jerseys ,” Hakstol said. ”I don’t know if anybody still will. I do know this, we’ve got it down to a five-game series and we introduced ourselves into this series tonight.”

Shayne Gostisbehere, Travis Konecny, Andrew McDonald and Nolan Patrick also scored for the Flyers. Two nights after getting crushed 7-0, Philadelphia responded by keeping Pittsburgh stars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in check and taking advantage of what few chances it produced against Matt Murray to beat the Penguins for the first time this season.

”For all the doubters out there, there you go Authentic Customized Bills Jerseys ,” Flyers forward Claude Giroux said.

Game 3 is Sunday in Philadelphia.

Patric Hornqvist scored Pittsburgh’s lone goal with just over 5 minutes left to avoid the shutout, but the Penguins looked ordinary for long stretches after looking unstoppable in the opener.

Pittsburgh outshot the Flyers 35-20, a number that didn’t include a pair of shots that hit the post early or Crosby fanning on a wide-open net in the waning seconds of the second period. Elliott, pulled in the middle of the second period in Game 1, also stoned Crosby on a breakaway earlier in the second.

”You always look back and there are the `what ifs’ but that happens sometimes,” Crosby said. ”We just have to stay with it. That’s the way the playoffs work.”

Matt Murray’s shutout streak dating to the 2017 Stanley Cup finals ended at 225:49 when Gostisbehere scored on the power play late in the first period. Murray finished with 15 saves to lose for just the third time in 17 home playoff starts in his career.

The Flyers struggled to sustain pressure on Murray but took advantage of what few opportunities they created. Philadelphia went on the power play late in the first period when Pittsburgh’s Zach Aston-Reese was called for boarding and the Flyers – who didn’t even manage a shot on net during four power plays in Game 1 – needed just one to take the lead.

Gostisbehere sent a shot from the point that made its way through a Patrick screen Derwin James Jersey Chargers , between Murray’s legs and into the net with 37 seconds left in the opening period to end the fourth-longest playoff shutout streak since 1990.

It didn’t take the Flyers nearly as long to beat Murray again. Less than two minutes actually.

Murray actually managed to get his right pad on Couturier’s shot from in front but the puck popped up, caromed off Pittsburgh defenseman Kris Letang and into the net 47 seconds into the second.

The Penguins began pressing but Elliott responded. Crosby broke in alone just past the game’s midway point but Elliott’s glove swallowed up the Pittsburgh captain’s backhand attempt. Late in the second, Crosby needed to simply redirect the puck into the net while standing at the right post. Instead, it skittered straight across the goal mouth and out of harm’s way. Crosby smashed his stick over the crossbar in frustration.

”If I find a way to put that one in, it’s 2-1, it’s a different game Youth Su'a Cravens Jersey ,” Crosby said. ”So, that one and the breakaway was the big turning point in the game.”

When Konecny held off Chad Ruhwedel and chipped the puck over Murray’s glove 1:21 into the third the Flyers had control. Just over 18 minutes later they had their first victory Pittsburgh in 383 days to go home with the series even.

”It was a little weird last game,” Elliot said. ”I think this game we really came out and everybody played their role really well. We played a great team game.”

NOTES: Letang went to the dressing room for the majority of the second period after Giroux slammed into him just seconds after Crosby and Giroux collided. Giroux was not called for a penalty and Letang returned for the third period. … Pittsburgh went 0 for 4 on the power play. The Flyers were 2 for 3. … Amanda Kessel, a member of the gold-medal winning U.S. women’s hockey team at the 2018 Olympics and the younger sister of Penguins forward Phil Kessel, led the sellout crowd at PPG Paints Arena in a ”Let’s Go Pens” chant before the opening faceoff.

SAN JOSE Royce Freeman Jersey Elite , Calif. (AP) Desperation turns to jubilation in the NHL playoffs when a trailing team manages to score the tying goal late in regulation to force overtime.

That sudden change of emotions would figure to fuel a team’s momentum in overtime. But that’s not always the case, as evidenced the past three nights when a team that squandered a late lead managed to bounce back in overtime and earn a win.

Vegas and San Jose each experienced both sides of that roller coaster the past two games, with the Golden Knights responding with William Karlsson’s goal in overtime in Game 3 at the Shark Tank.

Article continues below ...

That came two nights after San Jose saw Nate Schmidt tie Game 2 with 6:32 left only to end up on the winning side on Logan Couture’s power-play goal in the second overtime.

”You just move on,” Vegas coach Gerard Gallant said. ”It’s playoff hockey. We were disappointed when they scored with roughly two minutes left in the hockey game. … We regrouped in the overtime session between periods and said let’s go out there and get this game.”

This postseason has featured four games in all that went to overtime after one team tied it with less than five minutes to play. The team that blew the lead has come out on top in three of those games, with Nashville doing it to Winnipeg in Game 2 of their second-round series on Sunday night and Columbus doing it to Washington in Game 2 of their first-round series.

The Blue Jackets are the only team this postseason to force overtime with a goal in the final five minutes and win, having done it in Game 1 against the Capitals.

For all the talk of late-game momentum, teams scoring those late goals are just 7-8 in overtime the past two postseasons.

”We weren’t too happy with this as a team Cassius Marsh Super Bowl LI Jersey ,” said Vegas goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, who made Karlsson’s winner possible by robbing Couture earlier in the OT. ”But everyone was relaxed between periods. We talked and we knew what we had to do.”

Momentum can be very fleeting in the playoffs whether in a game or a series. In the first five days of the second round, no team has won consecutive games in a series.

The Sharks will try to put the Game 3 loss in the past and continue that pattern to tie their series at two games apiece when they take the ice for Game 4 on Wednesday night (10 p.m. EDT, NBCSN).

”It’s easy,” Couture said. ”The schedule-makers did a good job of playing games every other day so it’s easy to forget about a game when you’ve got another one (coming). … We’re down 2-1. It doesn’t matter how you got there or what the score was in any of the games, we’re down 2-1 and we’ve got a big game.”

The Bruins will look to do the same when their second-round series against Tampa Bay shifts to Boston for Game 3 on Wednesday night (7:30 p.m. EDT, NBCSN).

Boston won the opener handily 6-2 before falling in Game 2 in Tampa Bay 4-2 on Monday night.

”I think that feel good from winning Courtland Sutton Jersey Elite , you take that emotion into the next game,” Lightning forward Chris Kunitz said. ”But each game has its own identity, you can’t rest on what you did last game and just hope they walk away.”

STAY OUT OF THE BOX

The Sharks were one of the best teams in the regular season at avoiding penalties, going short-handed just 2.7 times per game for the fourth-lowest mark in the league. That discipline has been missing this round as Vegas has gotten 18 power plays in three games. The Golden Knights converted five of them, including two during a three-goal barrage in a span of less than five minutes of the second period in Game 2.

San Jose also went short-handed twice in overtime for having too many men on the ice and for delay of game.

”Obviously their two power play goals swing the momentum in the second period, but I didn’t think our discipline or penalties were a problem, just one of those nights Rick Leonard Jersey Elite ,” coach Peter DeBoer said.

LIGHT THE LAMP

Brayden Point is just the latest player with a big-scoring night these playoffs. He had one goal and three assists for Tampa Bay in the Game 2 win over Boston, marking the 11th time a player has posted four points in a game in this postseason. This is just the second time in the last 20 years that there have been at least 11 four-point performances in the first 52 games of the playoffs.

”He’s a special player, and when big games come about, special players take over and he did that,” teammate Tyler Johnson said. ”I can’t say enough about the guy.”

ALL TIED UP

Even though Vegas now has taken a 2-1 series lead over San Jose, all four second-round series stood tied after two games. This is just the fourth time since 1975 that teams split the first two games in all four series in the second round. It also happened in 1991, 1986 and 1984.

There aren’t as many players who can really still be considered daily fantasy sleepers at the end of the NFL season. Still Authentic Trent Murphy Jersey , there are plenty of Week 15 values that you might be hesitant to use, leading to a contrarian lineup and some nice returns.

AARON RODGERS, QB, Green Bay ($6,800 DraftKings/$8,500 FanDuel)

This may be your only chance to get a discount on Rodgers (more so on DraftKings). If the Packers are ready for Rodgers to play, you should be, too. Rodgers was having another terrific season before his injury, putting up scores of 30-plus in three straight games, including 10 touchdowns in that stretch. The Packers have worked hard to succeed without him and playing with Rodgers will only make those around him, like Jordy Nelson, better or fantasy relevant again. Rodgers has one of the highest ceilings in Week 15, especially against a Panthers secondary that’s started to slump.

NICK FOLES Authentic Mickey Mantle Jersey , QB, Philadelphia ($5,500/$6,000)

Foles has been here before, and the 27-2 touchdown to interception ratio season is an example of his upside. We’re not asking Foles to play that well again, and this is a different offense, but he has some great weapons and a great matchup. The Giants just let Dak Prescott have the best passing game of his career and are now averaging the most quarterback fantasy points per game allowed.

LATAVIUS MURRAY, RB, Minnesota ($4,900/$6,200)

Jordan Howard just obliterated the Bengals defense. With players dropping each week, the Bengals defense has little to nothing left. Murray is the lead option for the Vikings and the top goal-line option, which means he should see 15-20 carries and a few scoring opportunities. Minnesota could even lean on Murray more with Kyle Rudolph looking doubtful and Case Keenum looking to rebound from a mediocre game. Murray won’t replicate Howard’s performance completely Authentic Rasheem Green Jersey , but he might come close as the Vikings continue the playoff push.

KENYAN DRAKE, RB, Miami ($5,800/$6,500)

Even if Damien Williams returns, Drake is clearly the superior option as he’s put up 20-plus points each of the past two weeks. There could be snow in Buffalo again this week, which means a heavy run approach for both teams. If Drake even nears 20 touches with the way he’s playing and the state of the Bills defense (which let Frank Gore run all over them last week), he could put up his third straight 20-point game.

DEDE WESTBROOK, WR, Jacksonville ($5,100/$5,700)

Marqise Lee has been the Jaguars’ top option this year and has provided nice value so far. However, Westbrook has emerged of late Jaleel Scott Jersey Elite , outscoring Lee over the past three games and putting himself in contention for being considered the new No. 1. On top of that, no team allows more big plays to receivers than the Texans.

JAMISON CROWDER, WR, Washington ($5,600/$6,800)

Yes, Kirk Cousins and the Redskins struggled against the Chargers, but that Chargers defense is playing at an elite level of late. Outside of Patrick Peterson, the Cardinals defense has been weak against the pass. Second and third receivers, especially talented slot options, have dominated the Cardinals this year. Look for the Redskins and Cousins to bounce back in Week 15. With Peterson focused on Josh Doctson, Crowder will have the potential for a strong performance.

RICKY SEALS-JONES, TE Wholesale Taven Bryan Jersey , ARI ($3,000/$5,300)

The Redskins gave up 50 yards and a touchdown to Hunter Henry last week. Washington has allowed a tight end touchdown in five of its last six games. Ricky Seals-Jones is still a favorite of Blaine Gabbert.

ZACH ERTZ, TE, Philadelphia ($6,000/$7,900)

Like Foles, Ertz is a contrarian play given the situation. Unlike Foles, the price is tougher to swallow but the Giants are still the worst team at defending the tight end. Ertz has regularly put up big games against the Giants, and he’s one of the few players with a connection to Foles when he used to start for the Eagles. With Ertz back from a concussion, he’s in the discussion with Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce as one of the elite options.

SUPER BOWL SET

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are going back to the Super Bowl in search of a sixth title. They’ll face a Philadelphia Eagles team looking for their first Lombardi Trophy. Brady led the Patriots (15-3) back from a 10-point, fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20 in the AFC championship game. Starting his 36th playoff game Adidas Duncan Keith Jersey , Brady shook off an injury to his right hand and the loss of top target Rob Gronkowski to rally the Patriots to their record 10th Super Bowl appearance. The Patriots will try to match the Pittsburgh Steelers’ six Super Bowl trophies when they face the Eagles (15-3) on Feb. 4 in Minneapolis. Nick Foles, the backup QB who was thrust into the starting role when Carson Wentz blew out his left knee last month, led the Philadelphia to a 38-7 rout of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC championship game. Foles threw for 352 yards and three touchdowns, showing poise and moxie in going 26 for 33.

STREAKS & STATS

The Patriots were called for one penalty against the Jaguars. It is the fewest penalties called on one team in a playoff game since the 2011 AFC championship when the Patriots were called for one penalty in a win over the Ravens. … In the first three quarters against Jacksonville, the Patriots’ Tom Brady had an 87.5 passer rating; in the fourth quarter, Brady had a 136.3 passer rating. … Nick Foles’ 53-yard TD pass to Alshon Jeffery by the Eagles in the NFC championship game is the longest touchdown pass by any player against the Vikings this season, including the playoffs. … Philadelphia’s 38 unanswered points are the most by any team in a playoff game since the Jets scored 41 straight points against the Colts in the 2002 wild-card round. … The Eagles are the seventh team since 1970 to win a conference championship game by 30 or more points, and the first since the 2015 Panthers, who beat the Cardinals 49-15. … The AFC has been represented by either Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Ben Roethlisberger in 14 of the past 15 Super Bowls. The exception is the Ravens’ Joe Flacco in Super Bowl 47.

MILESTONES

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will be making their eighth Super Bowl appearance as a quarterback-coach duo, as many as any other team (excluding the Patriots) in NFL history. … The past four times the Patriots have trailed by double digits in a playoff game Adidas Logan Couture Jersey , they came back to win. On Sunday, New England trailed 20-10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars before rallying for a 24-20 win. In the AFC divisional round on Jan. 10, 2015, they trailed 28-14 before rallying for a 35-31 win over Baltimore.

SPEAKING

”He’s a tough guy, we all know that. But we’re not talking about open heart surgery here.” – Patriots coach Bill Belichick on quarterback Tom Brady playing with a right hand injury and throwing two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to rally the Patriots to a 24-20 win over Jacksonville.

”Words can’t describe what I feel right now. All glory goes to God. I’m grateful and humbled to be part of this team. Horse riding has always been popular in many European countries. Because of the world famous race and race tracks all around Europe Authentic P.J. Horse riding is a unique hobby to have because it can be taken up by everyone no matter what the age is. Any child, man or a woman can take up horse riding provided they are physically abel to ride the horse. Most of the children in Sweden enroll for a summer horse riding camp.

When children are about to start the their first horse riding experience through a camp or if someone is teaching them personally, they need to know what are the various equipment that are essential for horse riding. One of the main reasons why horse riding is so appealing is because it is very attractive and visual in nature. This is why whenever there is a big derby race or a festival, you will notice that the spectators, both men and women are in their best possible dress Weston Richburg Super Bowl LI Jersey , suits and hats!

This isn't just for male adult riders, female as well as children too have to worry about bra ridkl盲der as clothes are an important accessory. When it comes to children, they need to know how to take care of themselves as well as the horse. This all a process of educating the child when he is just beginning to learn how to ride a horse. There are various elements to ridkl盲der barn and pants are one of most important accessory. When children are learning how to ride a horse Authentic Yonder Alonso Jersey , they will know that so much depends on how comfortable one is when they are on top of the horse. And this is exactly why pants are so important. When the rider is riding the horse they many things depend on the leg movement and the strength.

ASHBURN Chris Herndon Super Bowl LI Jersey , Va. (AP) So much for that offseason overhaul of the Washington Redskins defense, a unit that even cornerback Josh Norman acknowledged after a recent game played like ”trash.”

They fired their old defensive coordinator. They spent first-, second- and third-round draft picks on that side of the ball. They added free agents there, too.

Still, it’s become a real weakness lately: Heading into their game against the New York Giants on Thursday night, the Redskins are allowing an average of 26.6 points, more than all but one of the NFL’s 32 clubs (the Indianapolis Colts’ opponents score 28 per game).

Article continues below ...

”We need to fix whatever we need to fix Isaiah Oliver Super Bowl LI Jersey ,” safety D.J. Swearinger said.

The collapse has been particularly striking the past two weeks, when Washington fell to 4-6 and on the very fringe of the NFC playoff picture despite quarterback Kirk Cousins directing the offense to at least 30 points each time.

That should be enough to win a game, but the Redskins managed to give up 38 points to Case Keenum and the Minnesota Vikings (prompting Norman’s self-criticism), before allowing 34 to Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

The overtime loss to the Saints last Sunday was particularly demoralizing and inexplicable, given that Washington led by 15 points with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

”I’m not going to stand up here and blame the calls or blame the players or anything. Let’s credit Drew and their execution. And our execution wasn’t good enough,” Redskins coach Jay Gruden said.

”Pressure wasn’t good enough. When we tried to bring pressure, he escaped effortlessly and found open receivers. When we didn’t (blitz) him Cheap Courtland Sutton Jersey , we didn’t get any pressure, and the coverage wasn’t tight enough. So, combination of a lot of things.”

One key issue has been allowing big plays.

On Sunday, Brees was 11 for 11 for 164 yards and two TDs down the stretch in the fourth quarter; Mark Ingram ran twice for 51 yards to set up the winning field goal in OT.

Overall, the Redskins have given up 40 plays – that’s four per game – of at least 20 yards each this season, which is the second-highest total in the league, behind only the 47 allowed by the Colts.

Both Gruden and players pointed to what the coach called ”uncharacteristic miscommunications” as one reason for the problem.

”That’s the frustrating part. It’s one thing if you play some tight man-to-man and (opponents) make a great throw and a great catch – I can deal with that. But some of the missed coverages or blown assignments are the ones that are hard to live with Authentic Sebastian Janikowski Jersey ,” Gruden said. ”That’s on us as coaches.”

Making things more difficult has been the rising number of injuries. Dating to the preseason, when linebacker Trent Murphy and defensive lineman Phil Taylor were ruled out, six of the 15 Redskins on injured reserve are defensive players .

It’s to the point where they have backups to backups getting hurt, including linebacker Martrell Spaight, who was wearing a walking boot on his left foot on Tuesday.

Gruden dispensed with full-fledged practices this week, opting to prepare to face the division rival Giants (2-8) only with the aid of walkthrough sessions.

”At the end of the day,” Norman said Authentic Orlando Brown Jr. Jersey , ”we can’t sit here and sulk over the wounds.”

NOTES: C Spencer Long (leg surgery) and LG Shawn Lauvao (stinger) went on injured reserve Tuesday. Second-string C Chase Rouiller was wearing a cast on his injured right hand, meaning third-stringer Tony Bergstrom could end up starting against the Giants. … The Redskins signed free agents DL A.J. Francis and C Demetrius Rhaney to the active roster and OL John Kling to the practice squad; RB LeShun Daniels and LB Pete Robertson were called up to the active roster from the practice squad.

WASHINGTON — With their first Stanley Cup playoff berth since 2012 safely in hand Authentic J'Mon Moore Jersey , the New Jersey Devils have one game left to see if they can improve their position when they visit the Washington Capitals on Saturday night.

The Devils (44-28-9) clinched a playoff spot by defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 on Thursday night at the Prudential Center.

“We did it. We didn’t rely on anyone. It’s a sense of accomplishment,” Devils forward Brian Boyle told nhl.com. “The battling for playoff positioning and trying to clinch, it’s all part of the fun of it. Emotions rise, tensions rise, you work hard and you get rewarded. We did it together.”

Article continues below ...

The Devils will finish with at least 97 points — 99 if they defeat the Capitals — far above the 70 points by last season’s club that finished at the bottom of the Metropolitan Division.

With one game remaining, the Devils are in position to clinch the first wild card into the playoffs from the Eastern Conference. They can finish as high as third in the Metropolitan Division or as low as the second wild-card spot.

Against the Leafs http://www.arizonacardinalsteamonline.com/christian-kirk-jersey , New Jersey fell behind 1-0 in the first period, but Pavel Zacha and Miles Wood scored in the second period. Keith Kincaid finished with 31 saves, including 12 in the third period.

The Devils also earned this spot, going 10-2-1 in their past 13 games.

“It’s a credit to a lot of guys in here for just coming up big when the pressure is on,” forward Taylor Hall told nhl.com. “That’s what I’m proud of, how we’ve played through the stretch here.”

Washington’s playoff position is set Authentic Johnny Townsend Jersey , though their opponent is not. The Metropolitan Division winner will draw the top wild-card team, which may not be decided until Sunday when the Florida Panthers face the Boston Bruins.

The Capitals (48-26-7), the two-time defending Presidents’ Trophy winners, watched the Nashville Predators secure this season’s trophy with a 4-3 win over the Capitals on Thursday night at Capital One Arena.

“But I like the way we’re playing,” Capitals coach Barry Trotz told The Washington Post after the Capitals lost for just the second time since March 20. “We’re playing with lots of speed, we’re playing with lots of pace Authentic Jake Guentzel Jersey , and that was a good test.”

Evgeny Kuznetsov scored twice for Washington and Alex Ovechkin scored his NHL-leading 47th goal, meaning he will need a hat trick Saturday night to reach 50 goals for the eighth time.

“Right now, our focus is not on 50, our focus is on the playoffs,” Ovechkin told nhl.com. “And being in shape. We didn’t get hurt. That’s the most important thing.”

Kuznetsov, who added an assist Authentic John Kelly Jersey , posted his 82nd point of the season and became the 16th player in franchise history to reach 80 and the first player other than Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom to do it since Alexander Semin in the 2009-10 season.

Kuznetsov’s 27 goals this season are a personal season high.

Phillip Grubauer made 25 saves for Washington. Braden Holtby will likely start against the Devils, and the wait will begin for Trotz to reveal his playoff goaltending plans.

In Holtby’s last three starts, he is 2-1-0 with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Carson Wentz isn’t paying attention to his impressive stats.

Wentz tossed four touchdown passes Adidas Evander Kane Jersey , Corey Clement had three scores, and the Philadelphia Eagles routed the Denver Broncos 51-23 on Sunday.

The second-year quarterback leads the NFL with 23 TD passes, including 17 in the last five games.

Article continues below ...

”Touchdowns are great, but being 8-1 is what it’s all about,” Wentz said.

The Eagles dismantled the league’s top-ranked defense, racking up 419 yards, to win their seventh straight game and head into a bye week with the best record in the league. Yet Clive Walford Jersey Elite , Wentz sees room for improvement.

”Absolutely, we’re never going to settle,” he said. ”Always things to learn from. I think we can keep getting better.”

Brock Osweiler couldn’t get the Broncos (3-5) on track in his first start since rejoining the team in September. He threw two interceptions. Denver has lost four in a row and five of six.

”Every man has to do a self-check of himself,” Broncos coach Vance Joseph said when asked if his team quit. ”Only each man would know what his heart said to him in the fourth quarter. That’s where I’ll leave that.”

Wentz was 15 of 27 for 199 yards before giving way to Nick Foles. He has three four-TD performances in the last five weeks.

”He improves every single week and the guys around him elevate their game,” Eagles coach Doug Pederson said. ”The great quarterbacks make the guys around them play at a higher level.”

Clement had two TD runs and one TD catch, and newcomer Jay Ajayi ran for 77 yards and one score.

”Excited to be here,” Ajayi said. ”Great football town. Definitely believe we can do a lot of special things here.”

Wentz flipped a 32-yard TD pass to Alshon Jeffery to give the Eagles a 7-3 lead after a holding penalty on Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib extended the drive. Talib bit on a faked inside handoff to Ajayi and Jeffery ran past him to make the catch and score.

After Osweiler threw a pick right to Patrick Robinson later in the first quarter Authentic Tremaine Edmunds Jersey , Wentz threw a short catch-and-run TD pass to Clement on third-and-10 from the 15.

A roughing-the-passer call on Denver’s Zach Kerr kept another drive alive for Philadelphia. Wentz connected with Trey Burton on a 27-yard TD pass on the next play, giving the Eagles a 24-6 lead.

Ajayi burst through for a 46-yard TD run to put Philadelphia ahead 31-9 in the second quarter. Ajayi, a 2016 Pro Bowl pick with Miami, was acquired in a trade Tuesday. The Broncos hadn’t allowed 30 points in a game this season, nor any TD runs.

Clement, an undrafted rookie free agent, ran in from the 2 in the third quarter Eagles Josh Sweat Jersey , and Wentz connected with Jeffery on a 6-yard pass to make it 44-9. Clement’s 4-yard TD run capped the scoring.

The Eagles hadn’t scored 50 points since a 54-11 victory over the Bears on Dec. 22, 2013.

The last time the Broncos allowed more points, they beat the Cowboys 51-48 on Oct. 6, 2013. But Peyton Manning isn’t around anymore.

FLASHBACK

For one play, Denver’s defense looked like its old self. Von Miller stripped Foles and Brandon Marshall scooped up the fumble and ran it back 19 yards for a TD.

GROUND AND POUND

Clement had 51 yards rushing, LeGarrette Blount added 38 to go with Ajayi’s 77, and the Eagles got 197 on the ground.

DROUGHT OVER

Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas caught his first TD pass this season Cheap Josh Jackson Jersey , a 1-yard grab in the fourth quarter. It was the first TD catch for the five-time Pro Bowl receiver since Nov. 13, 2016.

STRONG LEG

Denver’s Brandon McManus kicked field goals of 52, 53 and 24 yards. He was only 10 for 15 coming in and 8 for 17 in his career beyond 50.

INJURIES

Broncos: WR Emmanuel Sanders started despite being listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

Eagles: TE Zach Ertz didn’t play because of a hamstring injury sustained in practice.

UP NEXT

Broncos: Host the New England Patriots (6-2) next Sunday.

Eagles: Have a bye before visiting Dallas (4-3) on Nov. 19.
